RAW believes in “adopt OR shop”. RAW believes that there are good and bad players on all sides of the animal industry and no one should be blamed for the bad players on either side. Animal welfare is just that, welfare for ALL animals, regardless of where they reside, home, breeder, shelter, rescue, zoo, circus, barn, etc. Animal welfare is for ALL, no exemptions. Animal welfare is proper care and husbandry that is science based NOT emotional based, i.e. dogs don’t have to live in a home and sleep in a bed for them to be defined as humanely cared for (working dogs etc.). RAW believes that the public has the right to CHOOSE where they obtain their next pet including a shelter, breeder, pet store, etc. RAW will continue to bring about awareness to the public through various posts on our website and social media pages.
